This originally was a fic called 'February' but then it's already November so I decided to just make this alone. Oh yeah, the quote was asked by tokyobend17 on Feb. 20, '09. :)

Summary:
When words are left unspoken,
Hearts are left broken.
And that's exactly what happened.
She watched them making out under the old oak tree.
Her heart shattered to tiny bits but she kept her composure she had to face and deal with this, he was not hers anymore.
Sitting on the lowly bench just waiting for the two to finish their business, she waited as her heart slowly crumbled into bits of pieces.
It was then when his eyes had met hers, he stopped, and told the other girl to scram.
She smiled at how he treated his girlfriend.
He never treated me like that, she thought. Oh well, you have to get over it, Mikan.
He neared her and sat beside her on the lowly bench that evening.
"You could have just told me to stop," he stated, now fixing his ruffled raven hair to make it presentable. "Wouldn't have minded."
She smiled at him. "Yo-Your new girlfriend's really pretty, you know that." She commented while looking at the direction the other girl left to. I bet she stole your heart.
He looked at her sadly. "...Yeah, she is. She sure is something," he replied. But you're still the most beautiful girl I know.
Her heart struck as if it had been targeted by an arrow. "Rumours say that she really is something, really funny, pretty, smart, amazing--perfect to summarize it all." Mikan laughed, still looking at the direction where the other girl had left. Everything everything that I wasn't, she had.
"Yeah, I guess there are rumours that are actually true." They can never compare to you.
She gave out a fake chuckle, him noticing right away.
"So how long have you been with her? 3 weeks? Wow, that's long enough to know everything about her." she stated. Just like how you used to know everything about me.
"Only the most important things, I guess." He sighed. "There're lots of times when she tells me things that I don't, well, can't remember. I'm usually too busy thinking of something else." I can never remember anything about her or anything she tells me because I'm always thinking of you.
Her cheeks pouted. "Mou, Natsume, that's not really nice. You should know everything about her!" she scolded. "What her favourite colour is, her favourite perfume, her favourite number, every little detail!" she exclaimed. I bet you forgot all about me already.
"Haha, I'll take that advice, I suppose." He replied. Red because it resembled my eyes, Strawberry Apple (I miss your scent), Seven... What about that other girl?
"Anyway Polka Dots, what're you here for?" he asked, curious. Please ask me to be yours again.
"Oh, oh yeah. Umm, we have a Science project, remember? I think it's about Physics... Not really sure 'cause I don't care about Science, but all I remember is that you're my partner!" she replied. It would hurt you to come back to me.
"Just meet me in my room tomorrow, nine AM." He drawled. I miss your presence in my room; don't you know you're the reason of my insomnia?
"Sure." Your room was really the only place I could sleep in.
Then Mikan got out of the bench as Natsume still sat on it.
"Well, I hope you guys last," she said with a sad smile. Because we never did.
His eyes widened. No, don't say that. "Yeah, hopefully we do." What the hell happened between the two of us?
"Well, I have to go. Bye." Before I start crying my heart out.
"Same here," he replied. I just hope you don't cry.
"See you tomorrow, Natsume." She whispered. I still love you, I miss you, I miss you, just so much.
"Bye." He whispered back. I never stopped loving you.
