Disclaimer: I don't own them
It was chaos in Camp Half-blood when we arrived. I could feel the people dying and it was overwhelming. It was Roman versus Greek and Human versus Nature everywhere. The statue was already standing on the hill but help from the gods were nowhere to be found. Besides, they had other matters to attend to. Reyna, Coach Hedge and I were running around everywhere, convincing every demigod to stop fighting each other and to start fighting together.
It was difficult and I was strained from shadow traveling across the world, but I couldn't stop. Adrenaline rushed over me and I was glad I had a reason to keep moving. Everything was flashing before me and I couldn't stop screaming.
But then something miraculous happened. We finally convinced them to fight together. Things started to become easier to handle after this. The Romans and Greeks were fighting together and even saving each other's lives.
Fighting one karpoi after another, I glanced around. There were no giants here but the battle was as still intense. The wounded were being cared for by the children of Apollo, both Roman and Greek; and the children of Aphrodite and Venus were assisting them.
I stopped when I noticed there were no longer enemies to defeat. I looked around and almost everyone was standing around waiting. And then it occurred to us, it was finally over. Some were wounded; some were killed, but the others in a healthy(ish) condition were jumping around and cheering.
Smiling, Chiron gave out a yell, congratulating everyone on a job well done. The centaur was bleeding from his left arm but that didn't defeat the fact that it was over; and he was glad.
Chiron motioned me to come over and after that, to Coach Hedge and to Reyna; probably to thank the three of us.
But as I walked over, I doubled over in shock. People were looking at me with worry and confusion but I wasn't worried about that right now.
I felt it but it couldn't be true but I knew my instincts never lie. I knew it happened. I felt it happen.
Percy Jackson is dead.
On this episode of I like causing pain to myself and others, I introduce this story I wrote at 3:00am. I might make it a two-shot. If so, next one will be up tomorrow (probably).
What did you think?
