"The tyrant in shadows will fall on this day,

Moria will lose, somehow or someway!"

The skeleton named Brook chuckled as he walked through the foggy, dark, zombie-infested forests of Thriller Bark. He already knew that those pirates he had met earlier were on the island/ship, and he was trying to find them before they got themselves into big trouble.

Suddenly, a Cerberus with the head of a dog, wolf, and fox jumped out in front of him. Brook smiled creepily and held up his cane.

"Hanauta Sanchou….ARROW NOTCH BEHEADING!!" he cried, and he drew the sword hidden inside the cane and sliced the abomination right down the middle, all in one motion. He put his sword away again just as an eerie, totally black figure rose out of the Cerberus and floated off.

The black figure was some poor soul's shadow that Moria had stolen, and Brook was seeking to A: Find the Straw Hats and B: Defeat Moria, if he could.

He walked further on until he spotted movement on the balcony of the mansion ahead of him. The figure, who Brook recognised was a man, was looking right at him, a look of utmost loathing on his face.

"Well, well." said Brook, looking up at the man. "If it isn't Thriller Bark's second-strongest, Nero Lich. To what do I owe the pleasure?"

Lich scowled at the Gentleman Skeleton. "I know you're here to defeat Moria-sama."

If Brook had eyebrows, he would have raised them. " How did you know that?"

"I have my sources." replied Lich. " Anyway, I'm here to tell you that you cannot beat Master Moria. If you even try, he'll destroy you."

"I am not the only one here that can fight Gecko Moria. There are pirates on this island, other than you, Moria and your subordinates." replied Brook, folding his arms.

"Don't make me come down there, you bag of bones."

"Moria will lose, Lich. And there is nothing you can do about it."

Lich narrowed his eyes but turned to go back into the mansion. Before he opened the doors of the balcony, he said:

"We'll see who loses, Brook."
