Persuasion A poem

A romantic poem based on Persuasion. Short and very fluffy well, I think so anyway.

Persuasion- A Poem

Persuasion parted them,

But fate reunited them,

The time aged them,

But their love stayed with them.

Different they were,

Both wiser and older,

Yet they couldn't forget,

What their hearts once felt.

Influence controlled her,

Resentment consumed him,

They tried hard to deny what they felt,

But their actions betrayed them.

Finally they decided,

To defy what there minds guided,

And followed their hearts,

And found happiness at last.

A/N: I wrote this poem because :

1) I can find hardly any fanfiction or poetry based on "Persuasion" so I thought I'd create my very own poetry based on it.

2) I feel, that "Persuasion" is not as popular as it deserves to be. It's actually my favourite Jane Austen novel and needs more recognition!

3) I was in a romantic mood ;-D
