"It's over!" He shouted, making me cower in fear. Jordan had shouted before, of course, but then he had a reason. Reasons were out of the question today. I watched as he swaggered off, Jessica clutching his arm and making googly eyes at him, and I wanted to slap him, hurt him, but my humanity held me back.
I grumbled meaninglessly and began the long walk home, though there would be nobody to greet me now Jordan was gone. I had a few living relatives, though they lived... Out of town. I wandered through the field, taking in the view as I walked. The grass was a beautiful fresh green with small white daisies littering the ground. A smooth purple streak stretched across the sky, reds, pinks and oranges specking the twilight heavens. Smiling, I reached up and gently pushed in the earphones. Music flew through the cords, into my ear and drilled into my brain. It rushed into my eyes and burst through them, creating patterns that hurried everywhere and clouded my vision. Digital Trip.
This was going to be fun..
