I felt weightless, as if it were some dream that I knew I was never going to wake up from. The darkness blanketed me, making me feel warm and comfortable like a lover's embrace, yet was suffocating at the same time.

I tried in vain to twist about and see if there was an end to this darkness. I could only stare at the darkness as it stared right back at me.

I curled up in a ball trying to block out this never-ending darkness, this black shadow of the things I hated the most. Looking in to the darkness was as if looking at myself, seeing my fears, and my most inner thoughts that played before my eyes.

"You're a copy," the darkness whispered over and over again in my ear like a hissing snake, "You're nothing. Just some little girl who thought she could play a role she knew she never could."

It laughed at me, at my attempts of trying to block its voice out, at the life full of sorrow and heartbreak that Inuyasha had caused always going to Kikyo, the undead clay pot.

I was nothing to him and I never will be. I cried, the salty tears leave a trail down my face. The darkness, struck harder then ever at that time.

"What use are you in the world? Finding the jewel shards, ha don't make me laugh. They don't need you no one does. They're better without you. They wouldn't need to watch over you like some child."

I grit my teeth. "ENOUGH NO MORE," I screamed out.

"Haha, I'll never stop, I'm part of you…I am you," the darkness then took shape into my mirror image. A wicked grin placed on her lips, a face whole of evil while my own was of shock.

I bit my lip, "No you're not me. You're too evil to be me. I'M KAGOME."

My mirror's face scrunched in to one of disgust then it's face changed again. It was Naraku's face that looked back at me. "Little bitch, you're not suited for this world. I shall finish you here now." Naraku moved closer, his hand stretched out just when he was about to touch me, all turned white.

I had woken up. I sat up in my sleeping bag; the fire was dying from the might before. The stars overhead calmed me.

I sighed "It was only a dream." I looked over Miroku and Sango cuddled together, Shippou sleeping atop my sleeping bag and Inuyasha up in his tree.
