AN: I'm at a standstill right now in my story. Leah's Imprint. So I thought you would all enjoy this sweet Edward/Bella one shot. I wrote this about two years ago and I hope you like it!
Summary: Between Twilight and New Moon. Edward has left to hunt during the night and when Bella wakes up the next morning she finds a sweet letter from her true love. This is the letter Edward left.
My Dear Bella,
I know you don't like waking up alone, and I hate not being there to see you open your beautiful brown eyes each morning, but alas, I had to hunt…
There are so many things that I have always wanted to say to you, but it is hard to find the right words to say out loud. What it all comes down to is two words- Thank you.
Thank you for letting me into your life. I don't know how I survived my many years without your presence. It is not only your sweet scent that draws me close to you, but your kind heart, soul and mind.
From the day I met you I have been completely taken by you. In the to long time it took me to realize that it was in fact love that I felt for you, I was always grateful to be in your presence, to be around you in some way.
Never in my life did I think that I would find a soul mate. You have made my life complete and I can never thank you enough for the joy you have brought to my life.
I want to thank you for bringing me back to life. You are the brightest star in my endless night.
My love for you is indescribable. Every time I see you or hear your heartbeat, it makes my dead heart leap with joy. You are the most important thing in my life and I want to thank you again and again for the new beginning you have given me.
Everyday I fall more and more in love with you and until the end of time that will never stop. I will spend the rest of my existence trying to understand how someone as perfect as you could ever love someone like me.
I cherish every memory I have with you and cease to remember any without you in them. My heart is yours and it always will be.
