He looks into the mirror. Smiles.

Red John.

He looks down to the faucet. His wife's red lipstick is still there. He picks it up, turns it over and over in his hands. How many victims has it been now?

Red John.

He uncaps the lipstick, the blood red colour stands out against the stark white of the bathroom. Blood always stands out.

Red John.

He smiles to himself. His wife always told him that she loved his smile. He met the eyes in the mirror with his own. You should smile more often.

Red John.

The blood red smiley on the mirror smiles back at him. Angela always smiled so innocently and cheerfully. It was only when she was born when he finally started to understand unconditional love. And his daughter, always beaming with her mother's smile. You're so naive.

Red John.

He stares at the mirror. Tilts his head. Couldn't they just leave him alone?

Patrick?

He raises his hand up and touches the mirror. Couldn't they understand why he was doing this?

Patrick?

He sighs and runs his fingers down the image. The image smears and the blood red lipstick mark suddenly seems as if it were crying. Don't they understand he was doing this for their own good?

Patrick, are you listening?

.

He grins. Of course, to create the perfect world... there has to be... casualties.

Right?

If we want a world with justice... Where we get what we deserve... There needs to be changes. And changes are always difficult in the beginning.

You know?

But if our goal, finally reaches completion. And we need to reach those goals, not matter what stands in our way.

Don't we?

So if we work together... we can do it.

Right?

And we'll finally allow justice to win. Because we that's what we want. Justice. And to get it, we have to do it by any means necessary.

Right, Patrick?

It doesn't matter how long it takes, or who stands in our way. We will win.

Right, Red John?

We are our own worst enemy.
