They all had their vices, their ways to cope. McGee had his computers… he used to have his writing. Until he gave it up. Now he had no buffer, no way to save himself from the reality, the stresses, of his job.

AN: Another 100 words. This time on vices of the team with a focus on McGee.

Vices

Gibbs had his boat and bourbon.

Abby had her music and make-up.

Tony had his jokes and movies.

Ziva had her fighting and books.

Ducky had his bow tie and stories.

Vance had his boxing and toothpicks.

They all had their vices, their ways to cope. McGee had his computers… he used to have his writing. Until he gave it up.

Now he had nothing. He had no buffer, no way to save himself from the reality, the stresses, of his job.

Correction: he still had his team. His friends made family.

Failing that, he still had his Nutter Butters.
