End scene to The Last Temptation Of Christy
Paige orbed back into the manor, ecstatic after saying yes to Henry's marriage proposal. She hoped Phoebe was still around because she needed to share this happy news with both of her sisters.
"Hello! Anyone home? Where are you guys? " Paige called out, walking down the staircase. Piper came running from the living room, where she and Phoebe had been enjoying some tea in front of the fireplace. "Do ya mind keeping it down? I just put the boys to bed," she said.
Just as Paige was about to apologise, the eldest Charmed One noticed the sparkling diamond on her youngest sister's left hand."Wait a minute... That's some bling you've got going on there, sis. Is that what I think it is? " Piper asked, tears welling in her dark brown eyes as she realised what this meant. Paige, touched by Piper's show of emotion, looked down at her new engagement ring, shrugged in her usual nonchalant way and said:"This little thing...yes! Henry just popped the question on Golden Gate Bridge!"
Phoebe, always the most curious of the Halliwell sisters, came into the foyer to see what her sisters were so excited about. "Hey, what are we celebrating that I don't know about?" the brunette beauty asked. Too happy and tearful to explain, Paige held out her left hand for Phoebe to examine.
"You're engaged!" Phoebe yelled and then hugged Paige tightly. Piper joined in for the impromptu group hug and Paige smiled, content to be in her sisters' embrace. A sad look briefly passed over the witch-whitelighter's face that did not go unnoticed by Piper.
"Ok, missy, what's wrong? You'd think that since you just got engaged to the hunkiest parole officer in town, you'd be smiling your ass off or something," she said jokingly. Paige looked from Piper to Phoebe and back again. "I just wish Leo was here for this, you know?" she said sadly.
Piper reached over to Paige, brushed a lock of hair away from her face and said: "Honey, Leo is always with us, even when we can't see him and I know he'd be just as happy and proud of you as I am, ok?"Phoebe nodded in agreement and Paige felt comforted.
