Here is my first attempt at writing a love poem surrounding the most favored couple from Code Lyoko, Yumi and Ulrich. Bear with the fact that this is my first poem. Enjoy! Comments and ideas for new stories are always welcome!
"Just friends, and nothing more,"
Those are the words that escaped their lips,
But in their hearts, both could not deny,
The love and trust within their friendship,
But neither one could seem to admit,
Such feelings so intimate and powerful,
Aware that the return of such a confession,
Could prove to be joyful, or sorrowful,
Yet here the two stood, under their special tree,
With hearts' pounding and bodies' shaking,
Who would be the first to say those three special words,
The tension proved to be too mind-wrecking,
So with a deep breath, and pride put aside,
Ulrich finally realized what he felt in his heart was true,
And at long last those all-powerful words graced Yumi's ears,
"Yumi… I… I love you."
As Yumi stood there, hearing Ulrich's adoration,
The girl let her heart deliver those words long overdue,
Tears of happiness filled her eyes as she spoke,
"Ulrich, I love you too."
There it was, a moment so precious and special,
Both felt like time had stopped,
But the moment became even more special,
As the distance closed between them, and both their lips locked,
Minds foggy with ecstasy,
And a sensation so bliss,
Both became enthralled within the wave pleasure,
That washed over them from that one kiss,
As their lips seperated,
Hands still in a comforting lace,
Both lay back next to each other under their tree,
Feeling the warmth, of true love's embrace.
