Actions Speak Louder than Words

Disclaimer: I can't draw that well TT^TT

Because actions speak louder than words.

There are times where Mr. Bear is jealous.

Jealous because, even if he is Kaname's first creation, he wishes he could talk. To be able to express his appreciation and love for his creator who gave him his life. The jealously is wedged deep in his heart, and every time he sees one of the talking stuffed animals saying their 'I love you's to Kaname, Mr. Bear just stands there soundless, clenching his fist as it stares at them feeling the urge to punch his oh-so-talkative counterparts with his super-human (stuff toy?) strength. The jealously always gets the better of him.

He tries to prove he is better than the talking stuffed toys. He is of course, a better listener, but what is the point in listening when he can't reply? When Kaname is in hospital, like usually is, he often visits while bringing tea and flowers only to find some other soft toy Kaname had created chatting away with him. Instead of walking right into the room with his gifts, he cowardly leaves the tea and flowers behind and leaves the hospital without a sound. He can't help but wish to talk.

It happens multiple times. He wonders what the nurses think of the mysteriously appearing tea and flowers (but then again, in a school full of Alices nothing seems abnormal anymore). What he doesn't know is Kaname finds the tea every time and drinks it while thinking of Mr. Bear. The flowers are placed neatly in a vase beside the bed, never seeming to wilt. Kaname wishes to thank Mr. Bear, but can't get out of his bed. He hopes that one day, even for a few minutes, Mr. Bear will visit in person so he can thank Mr. Bear properly.

There is a time Mr. Bear decides maybe he isn't wanted. He ignores Kaname for weeks, even when Kaname is all healthy and visits his little home regularly, he pretends to be out of the house so they don't meet. There are still those ghastly feeling of jealously when he accidentally spots Kaname talking to one of his creations but usually stays very much out of Kaname's way. After a while, he gets used to the loss of his creator's presence in his life. It doesn't mean Mr. Bear likes it, but it's fine, soft toys like him shouldn't have things like 'feelings' in the first place.

After being not visited for so long, he drops his guard and Kaname manages to sneak past his defenses. After that, he realizes, that even after so long, Kaname still bothers to come and visit him. Even after Mr. Bear ignores him for weeks on end, he still comes back. He'd try again, even if the talking stuff toys over shadowed him. He'd try to take the attention off the others. He'd try to keep his jealously at bay.

For his precious maker. The one who created him. The one who'll always care. No matter how ineffective it is to try and get words to escape from his mouth.

He was the first made, therefore he is precious.

Because it just meant he could say his words better with actions.

Memo: I didn't expect to write something so quickly. I was just thinking that it'd be nice to develop the less used characters. :DD I looked at the art for Gakuen Alice again, and no offence or anything, but I can't really stand it anymore. Damn, I'm a sucker for prettiful art TT^TT
