"There's a darn cold!" Vinnie cursed and wrapped his coat more tightly around him. "Why did he put us here?"
Modo sighed and took off his coat and handed it to Vinnie. "Take this", he smiled weakly.
Vinnie stared at him. "No, you keep it. Otherwise you freeze yourself."
"You take it, or do you shut your mouth", Modo warned. "I'm tired to listen to your complaints."
Vinnie blushed violently. "Uh .." he looked away. "Do not be an idiot, keep it! I should shut up!"
Modo nodded and put on his coat back on. "Of course, here is cold", he looked at Vinnie and pulled him closer.
"What the heck are you doing ..?" Vinnie snarled, until he realized.
"Should we stay close to each other, we stay warm", Modo nodded. But he felt about blushing a little.
Vinnie was leaning on him. "Uh ... yeah, this is a smart idea, even for you .."
"Shut up!" Modo growled. "Try to sleep. I keep guarding."
Vinnie did not dare to say anything, he closed his eyes and tried to fall asleep.
But it was difficult to sleep. It was too noisy.
He opened his eyes again.
"Do not you sleep?" Modo looked at him.
Vinnie shook his head.
"Well, I'm not surprised. We are in the middle of a war."
Vinnie could not help but smile. "If only we had a tent."
"What do you do with it", Modo bowed his head. "There is a cave, on near here, where you could go. And it is not only the enemy would see the tent."
Vinnie nodded. "Maybe .. maybe I could go there .."
"Where ..", Modo looked at him. "Oh, yeah, I'm staying to watch."
"Okay", Vinnie nodded and stood up. "Here, nothing happens. You can come to sleep there. I mean, you look tired."
Modo nodded. "A long day .."
"You have not slept in two days."
"I'll be fine, okay."
Vinnie nodded. "Okay", he shrugged. "Well .. I think I'll go .."
Modo nodded. "Sleep well."
"I'll see you in the morning", Vinnie blushed and turned away. He walked quickly inside the cave.
The country was too lumpy. Vinnie rolled around for a while, until he found a suitable position.
"This is okay ..", he murmured and closed his eyes. "Although, here's as cold as outside .."
It was probably were been for a one hour, and the air had cooled off.
"Pst ..", Modo shook Vinnie awake.
"Um .. what ..", Vinnie opened his eyes. "Modo ..?" he gasped. "What happens now? The enemy keep attacked?"
"No, no", Modo shook his head. "The air cooled. I thought I'd take a look that you're okay."
Vinnie nodded. "I am, yeah."
Modo nodded, he realized staring Vinnie again.
"Oh, well ..?" Vinnie sounded weak. "Are you tired? Would you like to sleep? I'm going to stand guard."
But Modo shook his head and pushed Vinnie back down. He opened his pants.
Vinnie swallowed hard. "Modo .."
"To keep you warm", Modo whispered and blushed hard.
Vinnie nodded and stood up closer to him. "Keep each other warm", he whispered and kissed Modo.
