The Knight Before Christmas
By ROTFLMFAO
A Poetic Prologue
'Twas the night before Christmas and all through the eve,
Not one occupant of Hogwarts was bothered by Peeves!
The teachers and students all snug in their beds,
Dreamt of chocolate frogs dancing round in their heads.
You might think everyone had much joy on this night,
But you must consider a poor painting's horrible plight.
Sir Cadogan could not sleep in his painting you see,
For he'd never had any of his own Christmas glee.
But an angel above smiled down on this poor sap,
And the gift he'd been missing fell right into his lap.
The rest of this tale does not read in full rhyme,
For if it did I'd surely run out of time.
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a great story!
