I did not wish for this

I did not wish to be invisible to the eyes of children,

I did not wish to become just an expression that scared kids to do as parents told them,

I did not wish to be scorned just for wanting to be believed in,

I did not wish for The Guardians to arrive,

I did not wish to watch as that wretched Frost became known and I stayed in the shadows,

I did not wish to be defeated,

I did not wish for my nightmares to come after me,

But most of all,

I did not wish for my fear to become known,

My fear of being alone and never being believed in.

I did not wish for that at all.
