A Mission That Opened My Blind Eyes

A collaborated story that my friend and I wrote.Pls pardon lack of details as this is our first.

Chapter 1
The group of four trudged along as the sun began to set. Neji, Tenten, Naruto and Hinata had been ordered to go on a mission to retrieve a scroll. They had succeeded and were on their way back to Konoha. "Let's camp here for the night," Neji said. Seeing that the sky was getting dark, the others agreed and they rested there for the night.
Chapter 2
Neji woke up first the next morning and the others soon awoke, preparing to set off. They were finally going to return home and were happy that they had easily completed the mission. A kunai suddenly flew through the air. Neji dodged. They then realised they were surrounded by eight shinobi from another village.
Chapter 3
Taken by surprise, the four were not prepared. Tenten was stunned and two of the shinobi darted forward. One held a kunai to her neck and the other prevented her from escaping. "If you don't give us the scroll, she will die," one of the shinobi said.
Chapter 4
Neji had just defeated the two shinobi attacking him and had been alerted to the situation. Meanwhile, Naruto and Hinata were still trying to defeat the remaining shinobi. Neji clenched his fingers around the scroll. He felt the need to protect Tenten from any harm but was reluctant to give up the scroll and fail the mission. He was in a dilemma. What should he do?

Chapter 5
Deciding to give up the scroll and save Tenten first, he dropped the scroll. Both shinobi decided to escape with the scroll and immediately ran away. "Thank you Neji"Tenten said. Naruto and Hinata had defeated the remaining shinobi so the four set off in search of the scroll.
Chapter 6

A month later

Neji thought of the mission they succeeded a month ago and decided to confess his feelings for Tenten.
Epilogue
"Tenten...I really like you. Will u go out with me?" Tenten opened her mouth but no words came out. She walked up and hugged Neji. "I love you Tenten"Neji said. "I love you too Neji" Tenten replied. She then broke away, pulling him into a kiss.
