Aya x Razer- I came back for you.

This prompt has been sitting around for a year and I really want to motivate myself to write some more! I have so many ideas!

"Hello Aya, I've missed you." whispers the young man as he shots her his unique smile.

It is an emotion that lights up in her. What is it named again? Surprise? Wonder? She stares at him in awe, but also bewilderment. He slowly lands from the sky, at her level.

It is "that" which strikes her at first. A difference in his posture, his self-being. Analyzing… She realizes she hasn't offered him an answer yet.

Her programming, not able to process his very presence, makes her stutter:

"R-Razer, how?- He cuts her off

-I have been looking for you across the universe.

-That is statistically impossible, even with your resistant metabolism and physical state, you would have been able to find me, yet alone pinpoint my position. Also your new appearance, she gestures at his blue lantern suit.

-Yes, that came along the way as I searched for you. Aya, it is good to see you again, he gently strokes her cheek. Her heart skips a beat at his words and actions.

-Indeed, the feeling is mutual. I must ask, how did you find me? She frowns a little. He founds her impossibly cute.

-Hope.

-Hope? I do not comprehend.

The Blue Lantern grasps her hand and directs it to his heart.

-It is just a feeling, just like she had told him when they last parted. This time she ignores the improbable answer he has given her.

-I see." Aya grants him one of her sweet smiles. Again, he is surprised. She didn't know what effect she had on him. Not only was she the reincarnation of his late wife, but also her entire being was simply overwhelming. In a good way.

"-Razer?

He jolts back to reality.

-Yes Aya?

She starts off…

-I…" The young robot pauses, pensive. She had dearly missed him. It had been so long after she disappeared. She had longed his presence. Her artificial thinking and analyzing remained, but she had developed a more humane side. The green energy within her had manifested itself, granting a much more humane form. She had discovered after her disappearance that her power was, in a certain way, alive. At first queer it was, but she had grown accustomed to these stronger feelings and emotions.

-Come back with me. He suddenly asks.

It's her turn to jump back to reality. Although I am usually not able to lose focus.

-Come back? But where? The Hal Jordan team was disbanded and I am 99.9% sure I will not be welcomed anywhere. She explained.

-Do not worry; I am fairly certain we can find aid.

-Who? She questions.

-Well, the Green Lanterns aren't the only ones who can help.

Aya runs a list of probable people who could help.

-Are you thinking of the Blue Lanterns?

He smirks.

-Who else? They are my brothers now.

He extends his hand to her.

-Will you come back with me? The Blue Lantern asks once more.

She hesitates. He can see it in her beautiful azure eyes. Doubt. Self-hate. Fear.

-Aya… he starts.

-No. Razer. Forgive me, but even though I wish I could follow you, I cannot. I intend to protect the universe from my person. If I ever malfunction and cause another apocalypse-

-Aya, please. I have hope. We, have hope. For the whole world. For everything. You do not have to lock yourself away, or let the past haunt and hold you back. I would know for sure… The Blue lantern stares off, recalling his days as a Red.

-Razer.

-So I will ask again, Aya will you come back with me?

Aya pauses then grins.

-Yes, I will."

As on impulse he takes her hand, bends down and lovingly kisses her.
