Bella POV
I was sitting next to Jake in his rabbit in the makeshift garage/workshop that held so many memories. "no Jake not a few years, a few weeks." We were discussing when I would join Edward in immortality. "a few weeks?" he asked incredulously, " a few weeks?! He's going to turn you into a bloodsucker in a few weeks?!" he started to become fuzzy around the edges and I knew he was fighting to control turning into a horse sized wolf. He lost. My best friend suddenly whipped around and his hand s had unfortunately already turned into his front paws. Each of those paws had a grown mans finger length claws on them. And each of those claws had just connected to my face. "Aaaahh!" I screamed in agony my hands going up to my face on reflex. That was a bad idea because I could feel the torn skin and blood. Jake had howled and ran out of the garage. I heard responsive howls and then giant paws thudding on the ground coming closer then Sam's voice. "Bella!" he cried out in sadness and pain, worry and disbelief. He was at my side picking me up in a bridals carry. I then, I blacked out.
