Lately, I remembered just how awesome Soul Eater really was. So, as tribute for the awesome anime, I have written this story and created a new account. The identity of my other one will remain confidential. I do not own Soul Eater or any of its characters. Well, Enjoy. –Meryl Gray
Prologue
Maka Albarn. As cheesy as this sounds, she was a nobody. Rather than go to parties and get drunk off her ass, Maka's nose was buried in a book from sunrise 'til sundown. She was constantly studying, constantly asking for extra credit, and constantly being made fun of. Kids are cruel, everybody knows that. They would pick on her incessantly; however, Maka was too busy planning her future to care. Maka was sure she would go somewhere with her life. It was something you had to do when your single dad could barely afford to pay the house mortgage.
Solomon 'Soul Eater' Evans. He was the it boy. His reputation for hardcore partying was as solid as Maka's 4.3 GPA. Soul was all about the fun, even though his rich snobby parents had other ideas for him. He was supposed to be the heir to Evans Incorporated, becoming a well-rounded individual who excelled in the fine arts. He was supposed to be a practical genius, becoming the Valedictorian for his high school. He was supposed to do a lot of great things…that he did none of. But you know what he can do? Ladies, he wasn't called 'Eater' for 'nothing. And it wasn't because he could down food faster than the world's fattest man probably could.
In the natural circumstances, the two polar opposites would most likely never give each other a second glance. But, this isn't a natural circumstance. This is a retelling of how the two teens' worlds collided. Will they make it out unscathed? Or will the pressures of the outside push them to the point of no return?
This story will officially begin by next week. I do plan on going somewhere with this story. Also, most to all of the characters will be in character. Nothing ruins a story more for me than the old OOC. Also, no OC's will probably will be added unless I run out of people to put the blame on. LOL. Well, Meryl Gray out.
