Disclaimer: I do not own NCIs of my teacher's engagment ring

A/N: This story has been inspired by my recently engaged teacher's ring. I know its creepy but anyway.

It amazed her that something so small could mean so much. How a loop of metal and a small rock could hold so much value and meaning, both physical and sentimental. A simple ring that represented love, trust, companionship, loyalty, friendship, and devotion. But most of all love. It was a commitment he had made to her. A promise to marry and be with her forever. In her opinion an engagement ring, no matter how small, was the most romantic gesture a man could bestow upon a wonam. The only thing better than an engagement ring was a wedding ring, which she would have in a few months anyway.

"Kate?...Kate?"

"Oh, sorry Tony, what did you say?"

"I asked if you were okay, you seem to be in a bit of a daze. Not having second thoughts are you?" Tony asked motioning with his head towards the ring she was fiddling with.

"No, just the oppsite acctually." She said snuggling closer to him on the couch.

"Good." Tony said, kissing her head.

Yes, any woman was lucky to get an engagement ring but she was the luckiest.

A/N: Now what makes this really creeping is that the guy my teacher is marrying reminds me of DiNozzo, to the point I call him that behind his back.
