Princess! 2.0

New Personalities. New Identities. A Whole New Story.

((The princesses are back with a whole new tale--mainly because I cannot stand the last story that I wrote about them those two years ago. Since then, I've matured as a person, a writer, and a Disney princess fan. So, here's a completely new story for those princess-lovers out there.))

Snow White:

There were a few things I had to say to Cinderella before hopping in to make breakfast for the rest of the princesses. First, her dresses where literally spilling out of her room and into the hallway. Second, she hadn't helped with the kitchen chores in over a week. And, third, the mice were back--not those cuddly little mice that she kept as pets--the big ones that ate through your window blinds and ate entire boxes of cereal. Those kinds of mice.

She was snoring steadily in the dim light of her room, and I trudged over dresses and accesories to reach her windows in order to draw the curtains to an open. A stream of light swept through the room, and her eyes twitched angrily.

"Get out..." she mumbled.

"Get up," I replied, shaking her covers off of her and lifting a dress onto a hanger. "There's only so much time in a day, and you spend more than half of it sleeping."

She tugged the covers back upon her and rolled onto her side, "I spend the day enjoying myself; the room is fine."

"No, not really. It needs cleaned up. Now." I hated being hard on her, but she needed it.

"It's fine. Really." She sat up, giving me a little glare. "You can make breakfast now."

I sent a glare back at her. "I'll be back in ten minutes. Clean this up." With that, I swept out of the room and into the hallway, an image of her hands pressed against her hips burning into my mind.

Well, that was another Disney morning for you.
