"Urk. G-GAAAAHHHHHHHH!" The demon's attack pierced Oki's side. He coughed up blood. Demon Bird Nechku shot more icy shards. They pierced Oki's chest. 'No! Stay awake!' The bird attacked once more.
"GAH!" Oki sat up. It was just a dream. Just a. …dream… He lay back down and dozed off again. Kai watched her brother. Oki thrashed in his sleep. Why was he having these bad dreams? He has the bravest (or maddest) of the Oina tribe. What was wrong?
Oki jumped at Nechku and Lechku. Every thing froze. Issun was stopped in mid bounce. Oki was almost to the Demon's face. "I-I can't move!" Oki growled. The Demon raised its staff to strike and kill Oki. Something struck his side and sent him flying. When he hit the ground he turned human.
Shiranui took the attack for Oki. After the fight she died for him. 'I'm an idiot! He punched a glacier, ignoring the fact that his fists were now bleeding. Him and Amaterasu watch Shiranui go. It was his fault. It was always his fault.
Oki woke as the sun lit up Kai's hut. His sisters were already out in the snowball field. He sighed. Tears of regret filled his eyes. She died because of him. Every one ended up hurt to save him. His father had died to protect him. He washed his face then slid his mask on. He sat for a long time before deciding to go find Kai and Lika. As soon as he stood a voice rang through the hut.
"Hey Oki! So you do have emotions! Bah I thought you were an emotionless cur!"
Oki growled. "ISSUN!" He roared. "IF I FIND YOU YOU'RE DEAD!"
Issun laughed.
"Ah I'm only messin' with yah!" Oki sighed. "Shiranui died because of the hit she took for me right?"
