A/N: Obviously, I don't own the Disc or the Star Wars 'verse: they belong, respectively, to Terry Pratchett, and George Lucas and his affiliates. If you so desire, dear reader, may you live in interesting times.
Rincewind was perfectly—well, decently—satisfied with ignoring the confrontation from within the confines of the cave. Unfortunately, someone else had other ideas. Adrian had noticed a wayward blob of nectar within Hex and had disassembled a portion of the ant housing to deal with it, but for some reason, neither Ponder nor anyone else noticed this when they went to make calculations all the way on the other side of the disc. This is why Rincewind suddenly found himself on a small planet called Naboo. Of course, Rincewind did not know this, but he quickly came to the attentions of the current inhabitants of the immediate landscape. With the wizzard's head crammed into his helmet, he was unable to see much of anything, but the droids around him, suddenly and irresistibly drawn to the command of the magic armor Rincewind was wearing, began to imitate his every action (much to the confusion of the Gunguns with whom the droids had been engaged, but we will return to them later.)
Rincewind, hearing a muffled conflict but being unable to run with the boots, finally settled on waving his hand about, hoping someone not so hostile would notice him and that his streak of the Lady's favor would not run out. The nearby droids, of course, immediately imitated him. But there was another factor affecting the droids: the magic influence was spreading in waves over the planet's surface and more and more droids were falling captive to its control. Then Rincewind turned about, hoping perhaps that he had emerged into a cave of sorts with one lit side. Of course, the droids followed their current leader.
This is a beginning of what normally might be a one-shot that I came up with while rewatching The Phantom Menace. Consider this a teaser, as I don't have more of it written. Obviously there is going to be a chaotic element in the eventual outcome. If you like, you can vote in my poll about whether there will be other Discworld characters involved.
