Dance
Call this weird if you must, but Josh and DeeDee invited me and Zach to their Spring Fling and my mother, the headmistress and Mr. Solomon are making us go. So my mom buys me this red strapless dress and I have to wear a strapless bra!
Macy assists me and what can I say, I looked amazing. Zach knocked on our door. "Cammie, I installed a tracker in your shoes," Liz started.
"If anything goes wrong we'll take somebody out! Especially DeeDee!" Bex finished.
"Guys, nothing is going to happen! So chill," I said. I was really nervous about seeing Josh. I opened the door and Madame Dabney was right there, taking pictures of us with her brooch! Scary right?
Zach and I left campus and headed off for the dance, only to be met my DeeDee and Josh right there. I froze instantly. "Cammie! You look beautiful!" DeeDee exclaimed. "I'm so glad you could come!"
She hugged me tight. She never knew how easily I could kill her with only my strapless bra! "Me too DeeDee! You look really nice too!" She was wearing a strapless dress too, though not as poofy and it was pink – her signature color.
I knew I could never compare to her little heart dotted i's but I could have Zach. Josh would see how much he was missing.
Zach wrapped his arm around me waist. To keep up my legend, I let him – I totally didn't want to. DeeDee walked next to me and jabbered about flowers. Zach leaned in close to my ear. "Having fun yet Gallager Girl?"
I glared at him and punched him in the shoulder. "Don't forget to use your shoulder!" he reminded me. I would have stomped off, but, with Josh and DeeDee being around… that wasn't possible. I also wanted to knock him out, I had a bracelet and a ring on – I could totally do it!
We arrived at the dance and danced the entire night – much to my dislike. Zach seemed to be loving it, and insisted on me calling Gallager Girl. He could be so annoying!
When I was about to have fun – stop dancing and eat, Bex , Liz and Macy appeared at our side and ripped us away. "What's wrong?" I hissed.
"You have to come right away! We're having a Code Black!" Liz screeched.
"What?! Then why are you guys out here?!"
"Rescuing you, duh!" Liz screeched.
Zach nodded and we ran, back to school, back to life, and back to the Code Black.
