Rugged…strong …. a pirate.

The man with the body of a Greek god with a twist. A silver hook instead of a left hand. This man held the savior's heart. His eyes, blue as sapphire, seemed to stare straight through to heart mind and heart. He always seemed to tell what she was thinking and feeling, always knew when something was wrong.

Emma Swan knew she loved this man though she didn't know how to tell him. Nor did she really want to. She had been hurt too many times in the past. However, the time had come. Emma had to tell Hook that she loved him. His life was on the line. True love's kiss would wake him from the dreadful curse the Evil Queen had placed on him. A curse that without this kiss would take his life and send Hook back to the Underworld. Emma couldn't allow that, knowing that she was the only one who could give the antidote he needs. If only she could stop thinking long enough to do it.

Henry knew his mother needed to make a decision now. He knew she loved Hook. He knew he wanted their relationship to work out. They were so close to actually becoming a real couple. One of those who go out all the time and start planning a life together. All she needed to do was kiss the pirate! How hard could that be?

Hook could tell he wasn't awake. Why else would he be laying in an hourglass waiting on his impending death? He also knew what would save him—a kiss from the woman he loved. Beautiful Emma Swan. Just thinking about her made his heart leap. Her golden hair hanging over her shoulders. The way she almost smiled but never quite made it all the way. Her confidence, oh her confidence was astounding.

Hook shivered with cold chills. What was taking his savior so long?
