THE ETERNAL BEING

I have seen centuries come and go.

I have seen my loved ones grow old and die before me.

I am living with a curse.

A cuse of being undead.

You can't kill me.

Only with the sunlight rays

And a stake pierced right thorugh my black, unbeating heart.

I have seen beauty.

I have seen fame.

I have seen things beyond your imagination.

As I walk these streets,

I remember the days of my so-called youth.

I have seen it all.

The wars, the plagues, the cold, dark winters.

Yet, I have lived through it all.

I see her smile with her ruby red lips.

I feel that excitement,

She turns into a dark alleyway.

Maybe I'll go help her find her way.

I walk up to her,

Slide my hand around her waist.

She looks tasty and very tempting.

I kiss her soft lips and feel that urge,

That excitement building in me.

I have to taste her.

I need to taste her.

I hear her moans, so I kiss her neck.

Gently at first.

I cover her mouth with my hand.

My teeth sink into her long, slender neck.

She is as tasty as she is beautiful.

I feel her come into me.

I feel her life force fading away.

I do what I must to stay alive.

Her beauty will not be missed.

There will be others more beautiful and younger.

I have helped her.

She will know no pain nor see her loved ones die.

For now I shall be on my way.

Yet to continue my journey in this life.

A/N: Hope you liked it. This was another more than 10 years writing. I've been obsessed with vampires since I was 8 and this was my writing to them. Funny story about this is that I had orginally started out writing as a vampire and then I started to get hungry and I saw a mango and I just had to have it, so I wrote that in... lol and then I went back to being the vampire in the end... lmao.

I had actually asked my sister to listen to me read it, because she didn't want to read it and she thought someone was wrong with me when I spoke about needed and wanting to taste her. I then had to explain that I was talking about the mango... lol. True story.

Thanks for reading and hope you had a laugh.
