Just like Her

Elise can see a beautiful young women walking into her office, to apply the job for the advice columnist. She reminded her of herself, when she first applied in the newspaper.
She was just like her. Beautiful, funny, and of course intelligent. Phoebe can have any guy she wanted, but she was in love with one guy, called Cole Turner.
It reminded Elise of herself when she was younger. Just like her.
Elise can remember the hard time she was going through with her divorce, her first love, and that was it. Love can never find her.
Just like how Phoebe was going through with her divorce. Just like her, Phoebe decided to focus on her work. Just like how Elise did so many years ago. A career is wonderful, yes, Elise thought, but at what expense?
"Go out there and find love Phoebe, you are young, and intelligent, and you don't want to give up on having a family" Elise told Phoebe one day.
Phoebe was just like her in every way, except she hoped that Phoebe could find love, and not give up on becoming a mother.
Elise just wished someone would have told her not to give up on having that beautiful brown hair, brown eyes girl she used to dream about.
She wished that love could have found her, instead of her job. Elise wished, and knew she can not change the past, but at least she can save someone else, like Phoebe, from becoming like her, a career woman.
Elise just wished she could have been more like Phoebe when she was younger. But she can't.
One more good deed done today, thought Elise. She went back to her office, to do her work, the only thing she knew how to do.
