Mistake
A/N: Hi everyone (: This is my first shot at a Kingdom Hearts fanfic. Yes. It's Sokai.
Anyway, hope you enjoy this first chapter!

Chapter 1: The Challenge
Sora's P.O.V.
I knew for once that Roxas couldn't even get a girl's attention for more than two measly minutes, so there was no way Roxas could actually GET a girl.
Roxas and I had made a bet. The guy who dates the most number of girls in two weeks wins.
For me, if I won, Roxas would have to give me his skateboard and do my homework for three months. For Roxas, if he won, I had to give him my guitar and iPod.
It was kind of a risky bet, but I knew Roxas would never stand a chance against me. I mean, have you seen that guy talk to a girl? He can barely even hold a conversation of five minutes with a girl.
Roxas sure was smart, he was even a straight A student, but sometimes my douchebag of a brother can be dumb.
"ROXAS! SORA! DINNER IS READY!" our mother hollered from the kitchen. Did I mention that she has a voice of a megaphone's?
I sighed and walked to the dining room. I hoped- no, PRAYED that Mom wouldn't go into one of her prep talks again and try to get me to tell about school. Nope, I prefer to keep quiet about my life when it comes to Mom. Mainly because she's pretty overprotective, and plus, she overreacts.
Luckily, Mom was too preoccupied with the twins, Leon and Ivy, who were kicking and screaming because Mom wouldn't give them ice-cream.
I needn't have to worry about Dad. He was still at work, and he was more laid back compared to Mom.
"ME WANT ICE CREAM!" Leon wailed.
"ICE CREAAAAAAAAAAAM!" Ivy echoed.
Mom sighed wearily, running a hand through her hair. "Sora, tell me why I wanted to have more kids after you and Roxas…" She looked seriously stressed.
"Uh, I don't know… You just wanted more, and you didn't know you'd get twins again," I shrugged. It was pretty true. Mom always wanted to have four kids, but didn't expect to get twins again. Too bad, Mom.
Xion , my sister, was the oldest of all of us. I was the second oldest, followed by Roxas, Leon and lastly, Ivy.
"Xion, please be the greatest daughter in the whole world and get Ivy for me…" Mom said.
Since Leon and Ivy came, as soon as they turned two, we could hardly have a decent meal together anymore.
Xion grabbed Ivy. "No ice-cream for you 'till you finish your vegetables," she told her firmly. That just made Ivy wail louder. Xion shrugged, not caring that Ivy was trying to kick her.
Sometimes I admire my sister.
And that's saying a lot.
"Mom?" Roxas cut in.
"Yes Roxas?" Mom answered as she desperately tried to pry a bottle of ketchup from Leon's hands before he could bang it on the table. And smash it into a million pieces.
"Do you think I can get a girlfriend?"
Everyone fell silent except for Ivy and Leon, who were still wailing hysterically.
"Of course, sweetheart… Why? Are you trying to win a girl over?" Mom answered nervously. I knew that talking about boy-girl relationships always got her flustered.
"Um, no… It's just that Sora told me I wouldn't be able to get one."
Fuck you, Roxas. Seriously. I swear I'll kill you la-
"Sora, since you're older than your brother, you should be nicer to him," Mom said, shooting me a glare.
Oh boy, here we go again.
I snorted. "So you're telling me to lie to Roxas? Besides, I'm only older than him by a MINUTE,"I mumbled under my breath.
Unfortunately, Mom heard me and shot me another glare. Yeah, Mom, I'm so scared by your glares.
The rest of dinner went peacefully as Mom had promised the twins to give them each a bowl of ice-cream if they behaved well for the whole of dinner.
It was the first time in months since we finally got to eat in peace.
