Dark alley someplace – Brass meets Hank
Brass walks up to Hank, "Evenin' Hank."
Confused for a second but then recognizing the man, "Oh Hi Detective. What brings you to this neck of the woods?" He asks trying to make small talk.
"Well you do as a matter of fact."
"Me? Why?" Hank asked scratching his head.
"Well seems you and me need to have a little 'talk'" Brass replied raising an eyebrow.
"About what?" Hank shot back.
"Seems you're not such a nice guy." Noticing Hanks obvious confusion Brass decided to continue. "You see Sara, she's the best thing that could of happened to you, but I guess you were just too stupid to see it."
"Well no offence but I don't see how this is any of your business." Hank retorted.
"Me?" Brass said almost laughing. "Well Sara's like a daughter to me, and I don't take kindly to people hurting my family." Brass said with an utmost serious tone to his voice.
Hank, who was obviously starting to get scared replied, "So waddya gonna do, arrest me?"
Laughing Brass replied, "Nah that would take all the fun out of everything," his serious tone returning for the later part of the sentence.
Now more than a little scared Hank stood there uncertain of how to reply.
"Better watch your back, Hank my boy – accidents happen" Brass said in a light almost playful tone before he began to walk off. "Tootles" he said without turning around and gave a small wave over his shoulder.
