As the door opened…at precisely 8:00PM I might add…I realised that I had made a mistake. I know, I know, I never make mistakes, but I think this might be first.
"Why did we invite her again?" I whispered to Hikari Horaki, as I watched the enigmatic Rei Ayanami remove her shoes and stand to attention in the entryway, evidently waiting to be invited into the household.
"You said something about keeping the numbers even, so the guys wouldn't try to take advantage of me…uhh..us, yes…us." She mumbled, hard to hear as she was facing the other way, staring so hard at one Touji Suzahara that it was a surprise that his clothes didn't catch on fire as he capered around the living room amusing his two quieter friends.
"…whatever… Better say hi or she'll probably stay there the whole night…freak" I sighed out, more for my benefit than anyone else.
This idea to have a… "gathering" had been bouncing around inside my mind for a while now, but my plans had always been interrupted by an Angel attack, which could be such a cramp in a girls social life.
The way that I figure it, us pilots, should have more privilege than the normal people and the age-limit for alcohol consumption should be one exemption, I mean come on! With the increasing difficulty of the Angels, there is a high chance that we might... Anyways I just want to see Shinji drunk, so I staged this party on a opportune night while Misato was ehem......."working late" at Kaji's house.
CHAPTER NOT COMPLETEA/N: Hey all, this is just a taster for a possible extended pulp-fiction style (a group of interrelated stories that occur at the same time) fic about a party hosted by our favorite Raging Gajin (T'm pretty sure that it is spelt wrong --)…Each story will be in 1st person of each character involved in the party…namely Shinji, Asuka, Hikari, Touji and Kenuske. Maybe others depending on how popular this turns out to be. It shall be interesting to see how each character degenerates into drunkenness and what base emotions are exposed.
