She would wait on death.

Right there.

Because she wanted to feel alive.

An old man by a sea shore at the end of day
Gazes the horizon with sea winds in his face.
Tempest-tossed island, seasons all the same.
Anchorage unpainted and a ship without a name.

She always would hold that little piece of stone.

She took it from a great stone at the shore.

There had he kissed her for the first time.

Slowly.

Full of hidden passion.

Pure love.

She even made a necklace of it and before battle she would kiss it.

Slowly, her lips would caress the cool, light-blue stone.

Just like his lips would caress hers.

In a loving way, pampered with butterfly kisses.

That was then.

Now.

Now, everything was different.

Sea without a shore for the vanished one unheard
He lightens the beacon, light at the end of world.
Showing the way, lighting hope in their hearts,
The ones and their travels homeward from afar.

He always showed her hope.

He was her optimistic, smiling lover.

At nights she would stand at the shore and rub the stone over her lips.

Rubbing. She kept rubbing until her lips would bleed.

The dark-red substance would slowly spread over her lips en she would lick it of.

Slowly.

As if she wanted to remember how he would kiss her.

The blood made her feel as if she was really alive.

Because…

Because without him…

She felt dead.

This is for long-forgotten light at the end of the world.
Horizon's crying the tears he left behind long ago.

Sometimes she would stand there and watch the sun going down.

And when the last glances of the sun would shine on her face,

She could smile.

And hope he could see her.

And know she wishes to be with him.

The albatross is flying, making him daydream
The time before he became - one of the worlds unseen
Princess in the tower, children in the fields -
Life gave him it all: an island of the universe.

Sometimes the wind would play with her hair.

Letting it swing on her shoulders.

He always loved her hair.

They would often lay on the grass and he would stroke her hair.

She would giggle, and they would look at each other.

And there was only they.

Never him.

Never her.

Always they.

Now his loves a memory, a ghost in the fog.
He sets the sails one last time saying farewell to the world.
Anchor to the water, seabed far below,
Grass still in his feet and a smile beneath his brow.

He died.

And she was alone.

It was no longer they.

It was her.

That fateful day, she lost hope.

And since that day,

She waited on death.

Everybody around her kept smiling, telling everything would be alright.

But it wasn't.

She was like a porcelain doll.

Fragile and yet beautiful.

But one piece was missing.

Her heart.

This is for long-forgotten light at the end of the world.
Horizon's crying the tears he left behind long ago.

She slowly begun stepping backwards.

Her eyes closed, and her breathing deadly calm.

If death wouldn't come…

She would go to death.

To naruto.

To a better place.

Where she will be ably to live again.

Then she jumped of the cliff.

And felt the wind rushing past her.

And she felt…

Alive.

This is for long-forgotten light at the end of the world.
Horizon's crying the tears he left behind long ago.

She felt the ice cold water surround her.

Her lungs were screaming for air, while her heart screamed for him.

When she finally closed her eyes, she knew it was forever.

And the second after then she felt a pair of warm arms pull her into an embrace.

She looked into his fierce blue eyes.

She smiled, and realised that warm, peaceful feeling.

Her body was dead.

Her soul was finally alive.

And sometimes became forever.
