This is just a short story crossover of my Torchwood Character Kizzy and Harry Potter. Set during the First Wizarding War/ Maurader Era. Just short drabble. I don't own Torchwood, HP or any of the characters mentioned apart from Kizzy.
She loved the rain.
She stood there and wiped the condensation off the top part of the window, gazing out across the cloudy sky and up at the full moon, hazy in the falling rain. She had often dragged him out to dance in it, spinning around, laughing and letting it wash all their troubles away, or running wild through the forests on full moons, hiding in a cave somewhere, curled up together and watching it fall. Only this wasn t Earth, it was some distant planet and the moon was closer and larger, yet a full moon would always remind her of the man she loved, the man she d lost.
/I m not leaving, I m staying with my friends./
/You have to leave, he knows about you, he s coming for you./
/I don t care, I m not abandoning them, and I m not leaving Remus./
/You have to, we all have to go./
She closed her eyes fighting back tears, the argument with her Parents ringing through her mind. They d literally dragged her kicking and screaming from Earth, running from the Dark Wizard who sought immortality, the one thing all three of them had, so they d had to run, out of his reach, and out of the reach of the man she loved more than she had anyone.
/At least let me say good bye?/
/You can t. we have to leave now./
/I can t just leave and not say goodbye, I won t! I love him/
/You have too!/
/No..please don t do this to me please/
/I m sorry, I truly am. Please don t cry sweetheart/
/I hate you!/
She closed her eyes and sunk to her knee s, tears falling. He would think she d abandoned him. The others would think she was dead, they didn t know, but he did and he would hate her for it. She drew a heart in the bottom part of the window, framing the moon, then stood again, placing a hand against the cold glass, watching the rain fall. She loved the rain.
I love you Remus.
