The Doll
One day a girl went into the forest to get some wild flowers for her mother. All of a sudden, she heard another girl yelling for help. She followed the voice until it stopped. The girl looked around, but no one was there.
She looked down and she saw a doll. The girl picked it up and ran home. Her mother said,after her daughter told her the story and what she thought the screaming was, "What you think is preposterous! A doll cannot talk!"
"Mother, what else am I supposed to think?" the girl said.
"It probably was a girl playing around. It's okay. Don't get scared."
"Yes Mother. Goodnight!"
"Goodnight, dear."
That night, the girl was in bed when she heard someone walking. Thump, thump, thump. She got out of the bed and looked out the door, but the only thing she saw was the doll on the floor. When she went back to bed, the door opened slowly. Creak. She looked at the door and she saw the doll standing up at the door.
The doll laughed saying,"You are going to lose a loved one soon!"
"What?" she said. Then she woke up with the doll sitting at the door. It was morning when she woke up. She got up and went downstairs to have breakfast. When she finished her breakfast, she said to her mother,"Thank you, mother."
"You are welcome... cough,cough,cough." her mother said.
"Are you alright,mother?"
"Yes,yes. You probably should go outside,okay."
"Yes,mother."
She went outside for about an hour then she went inside to get some water,but when she went in,her mother was on the floor! She called her father on the phone. Her father was at a business meeting. After she called her father, she called the ambulance, but it was too late.
The next night,she heard it again. Thump,thump,thump. Creeek. And the doll said it again,"You are going to lose a loved one soon!"
"Noooooooo!" she said and again she woke up! When she got up, she went to go make breakfast. When she got down the stairs,someone rang the doorbell. She opened the door and it was her father. She gave him a BIG hug. She made him some breakfast and he said,"That was wonderful bacon,dear."
"Thank you,father." she said.
"You are as good as mother,and that is saying something."
"Yes. She was a great cook."
"I only wish...AH!"
"W-What is wrong father?"
"I think I am having a heart attack...AH!HELP!"But when she got to the phone he stopped yelling. Her father was dead.
She started walking towards the doll and said,"I HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF THIS!" She went into the forest, right where she found the doll,and said,"YOU HAVE KILLED MY PARENTS! I AM NOT GOING TO ALLOW YOU TO KILL ANYONE ELSE!"She through the doll as far as she could then started running back,then she heard the scream again..."Help!Help!"
