A/N: Part 3 of my Baby series.

'You'd better stop looking at her like that buster, I would not be liable for what I might do if you continue this constant admiring.' Catherine said laughingly as she punched him lightly in the arm.

'Why can't I look at her? I'm not doing anything wrong.'

'Hey, you're a married man. You are not supposed to look at other girls like that. You are only supposed to look at me like that.'

'Why, do I detect a hint of jealousy here?'

All he got was a ferocious glare.

'You have nothing to be jealous of darling. You will always be the most important woman in my life, no question about it. But you are being a little over the top here don't you think?'

'Can't help it. You never seem to look at me like that. And I don't get you to hold me in your arms and sing to me or rock me to sleep.'

'Darling, it would be a bit suspect if I were to do all that to you don't you think?'

'I don't care. I just don't like all this attention that you're showering on her. You seem to like her more than you like me if the time you spend with her is any indication.' Catherine said with a mock pout.

'Oh come on, it's not like you to be jealous over such a small little thing.'

'Small little thing, Gil? You call my husband falling for another a small little thing?'

'Yeah, especially when the person in question is your own daughter!' Grissom said with a smile on his face as he looked down on the precious bundle in his arms.

'It's just that you seem quite incapable of putting her down!' She laughed as she ran a gentle finger over their daughter's curls before reaching for her and placing a soft kiss on the little forehead.

After his wife had tucked their daughter into her cot, Grissom pulled his wife into his embrace and they stood there looking at their daughter.

'Can't help it if I fall for her. She looks exactly like the love of my life!' Grissom said as he nuzzled his wife.

'Flatterer.' Catherine said as she twisted round and kissed her husband.

Meanwhile, Sharon Elizabeth Grissom slept on in peaceful tranquility, long lashes lying smooth on her peaceful little face that bore a striking resemblance to her mother.
