Destiny
If you were to ask Ichigo Kurosaki on who was his first love, you might find it a little funny. Unlike any other guys, his first love did not happen when he was a teenager. In fact it happened when he was nine years old. His heart had been stricken by a girl that he saw at a young age. They've never met each other; he didn't even know what the girl's name is.
His first love isn't really the usual type. Why? Well, the girl he fell in love with was a girl that he just saw in a picture, a picture that he found at the street when he were walking to the park at that time together with his family. The moment he picked the picture, the girl's eyes caught him. Even if it was just a picture, he can tell that her eyes are one of the things that are beautiful on her. He can tell that the girl was in his age or younger than him. But he did not care; he just fell in love with her hoping that there will be a time when he can meet this girl one day.
As time went by, he got married but he still kept the picture. He married Kuchiki Rukia, his best friend for 2 years, which soon became his girlfriend for 5 years. Rukia's eyes are the same with the girl in the picture, which reminds him of his first love.
Rukia decided to clean their bedroom since she has no work to do today. She fixed the bed, arranged the clothes and the books that were on the table. While placing the books on their right places, a picture fell on the floor. Seeing it, she got on her knees and picked it up. Her eyes widened when she saw the girl at the picture. She'll have to ask about it later.
After cleaning, Rukia looked for Ichigo and found him reading at the balcony.
"Ichigo."
The said person looked up and smiled, "Rukia, what's up?"
Rukia smiled back and sat next to him. She pulled out something from her pocket and gave it to him, "Where did you get that?"
Ichigo saw that it was the picture of the girl who he first fell in love with. He looked at her and replied, "I kept this picture since I was a child, why?"
"I lost that picture when I was nine."
