Sethanus shifted as he leaned up against the dirty brown stone wall. He
hated small rooms, and this was a small room. Sure, as he glanced around,
he could see three other people that he knew, and yet the room still made
him shiver a bit. Shadows in two of the four corners did little to help.
"Stay frosty, bro." The voice came from his left. Adrian had noticed his friend's movements and was trying to calm him down. "We'll figure this shit out soon enough." Sethanus nodded, not wanting to test his voice. Adrian was looking pretty sharp in his black clothing; armor not unlike something one might think was out of some sort of fighting movie: a breastplate and shoulderguards covering up simple but flowing clothes. The hood of his shirt was back, resting on the nape of his neck as his black hair flowed over it.
Sethanus was not hard on the eyes either, sporting his own brand of armor: a soft leather shirt worn under a getup that seemed to scream wandering samurai. No hard armor, rather a collection of lightweight, colorful clothing that was both beautiful and deadly in one grace. His pants were black, but his kimono-shirt was a dark blue. Long hair that was never long before trailed down his spine, a color of deep brown.
Across the room, a young woman fidgeted. She was uncomfortable and yet at home revealing so much skin, with her stomach fully visible, legs shown from the thigh down to her dark red boots. Her top, though simple, was of cloth design and was showing off a bit more of her bosom than she would have liked, so she stepped a bit more into the shadows of the nearby corner.
The fourth person, a smaller man with shifty eyes, moved up to Sethanus and Adrian. "Man, I don't like this. There's something up here." The voice belied the man's stature, a force of power from a small and seemingly frail body. He wore a dark green trenchcoat with the hood pulled up so as to hide his face a bit more, and wore brown boots, but apart from that, the man was unreadable. Still, Sethanus felt comfortable around him. Why? "I am sure that we will find out soon enough." We can't be kept waiting, he though. Can we?
At that moment, a blue orb began to appear and grow near the room's sole doorway, at a position just to the right of mid-wall. A young lad stepped out of the portal once it was finished appearing. With the air of a powerful yet calm storm, the lad spoke. "All prepare for the arrival of Leknaat, the Seer, Holder of the True Gate Rune."
Leknaat!? Seer? True Gate Rune? What the hell is going on? Sethanus's mind screamed many questions as the blue orb reappeared, and out stepped the blind Seer, Leknaat. At that time, everything went black.
