One Last Chance To Say Goodbye

Goldenflower sighed.She was dead."Hello,Bluestar,Lionheart,Whitestorm,"she
mewed."Goldenflower,come with us.We will take you to StarClan now."Bluestar nodded in greeting.
"Um,Bluestar,I have something to ask of you."Goldenflower took a deep breath and let it out."Yes?"
The former leader tilted her head to one side."May I visit Tigerstar?"The three cats looked startled.
"Why,Goldenflower?"Whitestorm inquired."I just want one last chance to say goodbye to him
because..."she broke off."Fine,we will permit you to enter The Place Of No Stars.Lionheart,show her
there,"Bluestar ordered,flicking her tail at him.The tom padded through the mist confidently and stopped in front of a hole covered with brambles."This is where you enter.Be careful,Goldenflower.
It is dangerous in there.Good luck.I will wait for you."Goldenflower moved forward cautiously as the
brambles parted.As she walked,she looked around for the familiar tabby fur of Tigerstar.The leaves
began to rustle and two shapes stepped out."Tigerstar!Hawkfrost!"
"Goldenflower,what a surprise.I heard you are dead now.What do you want?"
Tigerstar stared at his first mate.The she-cat looked at Hawkfrost.He slipped away."This is my one last
chance to say goodbye to you.I would like to tell you that Brambleclaw and Tawnypelt are doing
very well and I hope you are too.Goodbye,Tigerstar."Goldenflower turned away."Goldenflower,
wait!"She turned back."Goodbye."
Goldenflower didn't say anything,but she was sure he knew what she was thinking.
She started to run.Time to join StarClan.Goodbye,Tigerstar.I love you so much,but you will never know.
