"The Outsiders, Unravel" Ch.1
PONYBOY POV.
After walking from the drugstore, I decided to take a shortcut through the back of buildings hoping I wouldn't be jumped again. I then realized a guy was sitting, knees close to chess,head on the brick walls of the back of the building, and a gun...pointing to the side of his head.
I couldn't just stand and watch, I just had to do something, without thought I shouted out "Wait!" The guy looked and turned looked different from other of a soft face, and different features,The guy had a hat covering his whole head and scars that made him look even more stood up and put away the gun into his pocket. "What do you want?" He said coldly.
"I-I don't want to see a persons life taken away.." I replied back stuttering. "Just take yourself home,I have business to take of" The guy shouted. I pulled myself into a manely order. "Don't," I started off. "There's more ahead of you,C'mon, I'll buy you lunch at the new burger place just a few blocks away." He thought for a moment. " funny business or I'll shoot you instead of me,Got that?"
We walked a few blocks until we reached our destination. After ordering our food,we both plopped down onto a table for two. "Names Ponyboy, Ponyboy Curtis. You?" He stuttered for a moment. "Lily, Lily Rose" He said and looked down his food. I chuckled without doubt. "Shut up,I know that name doesn't fit my appearance."Lily growled and stuffed his hands into the fries. "Now,Tell me why you pointed that gun at yourself?" I asked and took a bite into my cheese burger. "My life has been Hell since the day I stepped into this world..." "You can't just give you just wanted a friend,I can be your friend" I said. "Yeah right." Lily replied.
