Disclaimer: I own nothing but the plot and OCs.
The figure stood in the shadows of a large willow tree as he silently surveyed the house. The owner, blissfully unaware of his observer, locked his front door before heading out to his car and driving off. Allowing five minutes to pass before moving, the man quickly strode to the side of the house where he knew a window to be open. Moving nimbly through the frame, the man made no noise as his feet hit the carpeted floor of the room he'd just entered. A play room by the looks of the toys and books strewn around the place. Rising from his crouching position, the man slowly made his way through the house, stalking down the corridor towards his destination.
The bedroom was neat and orderly, books and papers stacked in even piles on the desk and not a single item out of place. It reflected the fussy nature of its owner and made his job just that much easier. taking long strides to the desk, he reached out a gloved hand and with a gentleness that contradicted the nature of his task, pulled the draws open before he came across his target. Slowly lifting the object out of its home, the man swiftly turned and left the house as quickly as he had entered, not a single thing, barring the missing object, to indicate that he had been there at all.
A/N: I know it's short but it's just the prologue and adding anymore just made it sound weird.
