Emmett's Pov
Edward came down the stairs, scrunching up his nose and giving an expression of disgust. But his` disgust could not hide a strange hunger.
"What's wrong, Edward?" Asked Carlisle gently.
"Bella" he said, struggling with words "is at a certain time of month"
It took a second for it to sink in. I howled with laughter. I didn't realize i was on the floor till i felt it shaking. The house vibrated like an earthquake.
"She...She...She's on her" I couldn't fit any more words through my lips. I must have looked funny, or maybe other people were starting to understand because i wasn't the only one laughing anymore. Through the corner of my eyes I saw Jasper clutching for air. Everyone else merely smiled.
"Oh god, i can't breath" I said, wheezing. The house continued to shake.
Jasper was the one to state the obvious.
"Are you trying to tell us" he said, forcing himself to calm "that she's on her period?"
"Yes" Said Edward through clenched teeth.
And the laughter resumed. I don't know when i stopped. But i do know that every month, Forks will have a mini earthquake...
