A happy ending, all she wanted was a happy ending. A happy ending like she read in many fairy tales when she was little. Where everything was perfect, where she could be truly happy, and where she could find her prince. Her prince who would save her from trouble and danger and always be by her side.
She always believed her prince was Naruto Uzumaki but she was wrong. He wasn't her prince he was Sakura Haruno's. Her prince was the silent, cold onyx eyed Uchiha boy.
At first she didn't believe it but they shared many interests and had many things in common. Over time she realized that the Uchiha was indeed her prince.
He never showed much affection for her in public but he cared deeply for her. They shared simple hugs, light caresses and soft gentle kisses.
They spent a lot of time together and grew very close. Everything was perfect until a wicked dragon named Itachi came and took her prince away from her. Right before her very eyes.
Her prince's life long goal was to avenge his deceased family. She knew no matter what she did or said there's no way she could stop him from going after his older brother. She supported his choice to follow him even though she regretted she had.
She just watched as he packed his things and headed out the door to face him. Just before he left he held her in his strong arms one last time. Kissed her forehead and whispered softly in her ear. "I love you, Hinata Hyuuga. Thank you for always being there for me. I won't ever leave you alone. I will be back for you. Only you,"
She held in her tears and masked them in a weak smile as she waved goodbye watching her prince leave.
Weeks passed, months went by but still nothing was heard from her prince. Until one day a couple of villagers found his body deep in the woods. She couldn't help it she cried and cried for days and stopped eating. Everyone was worried about her and tried to help her but nothing worked.
Until she finally stopped and settled down and married a suitor of her father's choice.
She never did live the fairy tale ending she read about. Since her prince was killed by the evil dragon. But when she died, she finally was able to obtain her happy ending.
