Chapter One: An Unwelcome Surprise
I was giddy with excitement as I walked down to the familiar sliding glass doors. I calmly walked in to the Arcade for what felt like the first time in years. It had been four years since I had last been there, seeing as I was at college in America! I had such a good time but I was excited about getting home and seeing the Scouts. So of course, seeing that I absolutely had to come, when I got home to good old Tokyo the first thing I did was go to the Arcade. But just my luck I see HIM right at the counter. I foolishly had gasped, making him aware of my presence. He turned, probably wondering who made such a noise. When he saw me he paled, not sure what to say.
"Serena I am so sorry." Darien said finally, standing up from his seat and walking over to me.
I saw red. I couldn't believe this! What had I done to deserve this?! Then I couldn't take it.
"SLAP!" The noise reverberated across the room.
Darien rubbed his cheek, where I had slapped it. He tried to speak but I was faster.
"YOU JERK!" I screamed, hate in my voice. "YOU ABANDONED ME! YOU LEFT ME! YOU BROKE MY HEART! AND NOW YOU'RE TELLING ME THAT YOU'RE SORRY?!
Everyone in the Arcade was now staring at us, wondering what the raven-haired man would counter with. Andrew came out from the back, but went back to the kitchen seeing what was happening. Darien just looked at the floor, probably thinking of how to say sorry. Again.
'Look, Serena, I can explain!" Darien said, as I turned around to walk out the door, tears streaming down my face. "I had too! It was for your safety an-"
"SHUT UP YOU JERK!" I screamed, stopping him from speaking. "If you recall the day you broke up with me, I said I never wanted to see, hear, or think about you ever again! And that's how its gonna stay!"
And with that I walked out onto the street. It was cool and the sun was setting. Realizing that I was late at Raye's Temple, I dashed off towards the bus stop, tears still streaming down my face, thinking of the man who I would love forever but wouldn't love me back.

"Dude, for the millionth time, why on earth did you break up with Serena four years ago?" Andrew asked me.
I groaned at the daily question. It had been exactly four years since I last saw Serena. But I had to break up with her otherwise something terrible would happen. But I couldn't tell Andrew the real reason why I broke up with her; it would tear his world apart, especially if he found out that Serena of all people was Sailor Moon, the beautiful and graceful leader of the Sailor Scouts!
