Hey: This is Jess.
To be honest, I've been listening to many fire-related songs like "Try" by Pink and "Set Fire to the Rain" by Adele (Don't ask...O_O.) As a result, this small attempt at a poem(?) was born.
By the way, did you know Lin and I were once in Badgerdog Literary Publishing, Inc?...No?...Okay...

We could have had it all
Finn and Flame Princess did
We could have, too
But we didn't.
He dimmed away,
He did it because he "cared" about me.
I could've stopped him. I
could've told him I
could handle his scorching
touch, his burning affections;
At least tried to,
But I didn't.
I gave up too
easily.
I didn't bother making him
return to me
I still won't and that's why
I failed him as
much as he failed
me...

This 'poem' will tie into my other story, "Big Bang Adventure," If you're interested. I'm planning on having some Fionna and Flame Prince interaction later on in the story.
