Tinka's POV
I sat down on the bench in the hallway at school. It was valentine's day and not one person said a nice word to me. Am i really that horrible? No one even like's me, as a friend? Sometimes i wish i could be nice and sweet but it's just not, me. I don't know how i'll ever fall in love. I stare down at the floor with my elbows on my knees and my chin in my hands. Valentine's day is always a disaster! Even Gunther and CeCe exchanged a few sweet words! My own brother got a happy valentine's day. But here i am, sitting alone. Not one person talked to me today. Maybe i should just go home.
Ty's POV
I was talking to my sister Rocky, well she thought i was listening to her ramble on about Deuce. But I was staring at Tinka the whole time. She seemed so upset! She had on a white knitted sweater that was buttonable in the front. Well, she left it unbuttoned revealing her glittery pink tank-top. She had on a white skirt with pink leggings underneath. She had glittery open-toed heals. Her hair was down, it was straight, but a little wavy. It looked so soft i wanted to bury my face in it.
"Are you even listening to me?" Rocky asked, annoyed I wasn't listening. She looked at me and followed my gaze to where Tinka sat, all depressed.
"Huh, what?" I look back at Rocky and apologized.
"Why don't you go talk to Tinka? It's obvious you still have a little crush on her. Go do something special, it's valentines day!" Rocky suggested and walked away.
Little crush? Yeah, right! It's more like she's my true love! But i know what people see in me, a player, but they don't know me. Tinka's the one person who i've gone on a date with and just smiled the whole time. We danced in sync and i remember her beautiful, soft, sweet-smelling hair as it lighted brushed across my face as i spun her around. I've never been happier in my life, i just wish i could tell her that. I see her start to get up with tears in her eyes. I grab a rose from a kid walking by, and run up to Tinka, almost tripping into her. I stop in front of her.
"Hi Tinka, where are you going?" I say as i have the rose behind my back.
"Home. No one cares enough to even say 'hi' to me. Except you, but i'm leaving" Tinka looked at me then walked around me.
"Wait! Before you go, i uh, got something for you." I handed her the rose, trying to keep cool.
"Aww Ty, that's so sweet of you...wait its not gonna blow up on me is it?" She said holding it away wincing. I start laughing, i thought it was cute.
"No, it wont. Promise." I say with a smile on my face. She looks away embarrased. She holds the rose up to her nose and smells it.
"It smells lovely. Thank you, Ty."
"Yes, it's lovely and as beautiful as you." I say and she starts turning bright red, giggling.
"T-thank you, Ty...you are very sweet." She smiled.
"Happy Valentine's day cutie." I say as she blushed and i kissed her cheek.
"Happy valentine's day Ty!" She chimed as she leaned up and wrapped her arms around me, hugging me. I close my eyes and smile, hugging her back buryinng my face in her. She let go as a still hug her tightly.
"Um Ty, you can let go now." She giggled. I let go, a little embarrassed. I reach out my hand.
"Can i walk you to lunch? I'll pay." I said and she smiled and grabbed my hand and we walked to lunch.
