La Isla Verde.
A lush island somewhere in the South Pacific. The ruins of an ancient civilization can be seen strewn about the island, and yet one of the most awesome constructs is the hundred-foot wall that divides the island in two. The other you ask? The giant skull carved into the face of the largest mountain on the island. Why is it there? Who carved it? And what is that lurking in the shadows with piercing emerald eyes? Wait… it's coming closer… NO! No stay away! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGHHHHHH!
Jump City.
A majestic city. Crime free, rich, a true gem. Nothing could be further from the truth. For Jump City's greatest maritime captain, Richard Grayson, is in fact one of the worlds best animal poachers, Nightwing. He has been to every continent, every environ, and has caught the most dangerous and exotic creatures every time. He is the most wanted man in almost every county, but no one knows his true identity.
Two young women exit Jump City theatre. One is a tall, well tanned, red head by the name of Kori Anders. Her slightly shorter, pale skinned, friend is the purple headed queen of dry humor, Rachel Roth. Outside the theatre their good friend Victor Stone, a techno-wiz, and all around good person meets them.
"So?" he asks them.
"They're shutting the place down. We'll never find any work in this town." Replied Raven.
"Well it just so happens that while you where in there, I got us a charter for my mooovie." Victor tells them with a smile.
"Please friend, what is this charter of which you speak?" asks Kori
"I'll explain later. All that matters is that we get to do the movie! And Richard Grayson is the Captain!" declares Victor.
