A/N: (sorry this is so long) So this is my birthday present to the RoseScorpius Fans Forum, which I've been since February and had a fantastic time. I also realised that I kind of hardly every write Rose/Scorpius, so I'm writing a Scorrose drabble collection with each chapter dedicated to a different member of the forum! Hopefully each one will have some kind of quirk related to the person it's written for (that probably makes no sense, but you'll see what I mean).

The first chapter is dedicated to Alice [watching stiricide], our flawless admin!

(It's also for the Confession Challenge on HPFC. A lot of these will probably be combined with challenges because that's what I do :P)

"Ugh," Rose groaned dramatically, pulling off her bright red high heels and throwing them to the floor violently as Scorpius closed the door of their flat behind them. "Remind me never to go to one of Lily's ballets again. A whole evening of watching her prance around and everyone simpering over her, and then seeing her backstage acting like a prima donna as well! I can't imagine anything worse." She collapsed onto the sofa.

Scorpius stayed standing by the door, saying nothing, as Rose's fat tabby cat, Susie, climbed up onto her lap, demanding attention.

"Scorpius? You're not agreeing with me," Rose observed, confused. Normally when she was in these moods, Scorpius would agree with everything she said, knowing that it was a lost cause to bother trying to argue with her.

"I...I actually quite liked it," he admitted.

Rose laughed out loud, but stopped swiftly when she saw that Scorpius didn't join in. "You're not joking."

"No, I'm not. My mother used to take me to the ballet sometimes when I was younger; she loved it," he mumbled, turning slightly red. Rose simply gaped at him. Susie meowed indignantly; she didn't like to be ignored. "And you can't deny that Lily is a beautiful dancer," he added, walking over to the sofa and stroking Susie to quieten her.

"Well no, I guess she is," Rose said uncertainly. "But...Scorp, I had no idea you were into that sort of thing!"

Scorpius laughed at her bemused expression. "It's not like I'm a different person or anything," he said, amused. "I'm still the same guy."

"Yeah. Whatever." Rose was staring into space. She didn't say anything else.

Scorpius could tell that she was thinking deeply about something. "What is it?" he asked, seeing straight through her.

"Nothing," Rose said unconvincingly, but Scorpius gave her a look. "Okay," she continued resignedly, "but promise not to be angry. It's not because you fancy Lily, is it?"

"What?" Scorpius spluttered; he hadn't seen that one coming at all.

"Well it's like you said: she's a beautiful dancer, and she's pretty, she's confident, and everyone seems to love her."

Scorpius shook his head in disbelief. "I love you, you idiot," he said, batting her on the leg with one of her shoes.

"Hey!" she protested, picking up the other high heel and hitting him back, commencing a brief shoe war. "I love you too," she said, after they'd stopped. "Sorry. It's just...Lily's always so perfect, and..."

"You're perfect," Scorpius interrupted insistently, and he kissed her, banishing all her insecurities. "Don't worry about her."

"I won't," Rose promised, beaming. "Hey, you know what?"

"What?"

"You have to be nice to me and agree with me all the time from now on," Rose said, grinning evilly. "Or I'll out your love for the ballet to everyone at work...it'll be social suicide..."

A/N: I hope you appreciated the cat, Alice! Next one coming soon. :)
