The crowd parted to let a glaring teenager jump onto the stage and snatch the microphone out of the petrified man's hand and growl, "Haymitch. Haymitch Abernathy."

He stepped back and refused to look at the stupefied girls and boy standing next to him, his face carved out of rock.

"Geez," the man muttered and then said, "Okay, Haymitch Abernathy is our second male tribute for this year's 50th Hunger Games! Congratulations are in store this year's lucky tributes…."
