It's so cold his breath mists in the air as he pants between the stolen kisses Stephen takes. Each breath feels like it might be his last for all the energy it takes but he carries on, thrust after thrust into the little sweet warmth that is left.
It may be the last thing they both do, but it is better to go out swinging than to lie in wait in a freezing cold cave and hope for salvation. Instead they take what they have always wanted but denied, because if not now then when will they have each other?
