Heinz Doofenshmirtz felt himself tear up hearing his own younger brother sing from afar. He himself was sentenced to live alone on a desserted island until Roger thinks otherwise. "All I wanted is equal attention," Heinz spoke to himself. "Is.. Is it all that hard to ask for?" The lab coated man sobbed as he looked out into the moon, his eyes narrowing in a frown that says vengeance. "Curse you Roger! You are the worst person ever!" He cried out in anger. "In fact, you were NEVER a brother in my life! It's always been about you, you and YOU!" The angry man picked up a stone and threw it into the sea, watching it cause a loud splash and sink. Heinz blinked as he realized what he just said... something was messing up with his anger... could it be, remorse? Heinz shook his head, tears streaming down his face. "What.. what have I done?!" Heinz looked at his distorted reflection in the waters. He looked back at the moon and cried out a long last scream before collapsing in his tears.
"ROGER!"
How my works pain me as time stretches long
How could I have hurt you this way?
So rest easy now, the punishment's mine
The weight of my crimes I deserve…
But into the darkness you brought me your song
With your voice my company's kept
For your sleepy eyes and sweet lullabies
In exile I pay you my debt
Once a mad scientist so idiotic
Look out on his city and sigh
Rejected he cried, "Surely there is nobody
"Who loves me, or finds any love of my sight."
So great was his pain, he rose in rebellion
Against all who hated him most
Until evil filled up his too-weakened heart
And always resulted in failures so cold
Sleep now, young Roger good night brother mine
Rest now in Danville's embrace
May this cool lullaby reach you in dreams
And ease you your passage of days
May my apologies find you this night
And may my sorrow in kind
Roger, I loved you so much then but now,
I hate you for so being blind
Soon did his brother do what was demanded
And gave older brother his due
Breaking the Harmony, he saved his country
And banished him, as any mayor must do
Such is the weight of that medal you wear, brother,
Duties you always uphold;
May you forgive me that jealousy mine
And live on with no burden upon your soul
Sleep now, young Roger goodnight brother mine
Rest now in Danville's embrace
May this cool lullaby reach you in dreams
And ease you your passage of days
May my apologies find you this night
And may my sorrow in kind
Roger, I loved you so much then but now,
I hate you for being so blind,
But until now, I still hate you so….
The years of my anger, useless on and on
I never imagined you'd face them on your own
May cold-hearted seasons swiftly pass, I pray
I love you, I miss you, that is hard to say….
May all your dreams be evil-! Sweet tonight!
Safe upon that bed, Guten Nacht
And know not of heartlessness, I care
About you Kruden Bruder and I'll meet you soon
Sleep, sleep
Sleep…
