The Doctor sighed to myself. He looked around at the solid metal walls around him, and lazily stared at the control panels. Even the TARDIS was starting to become dull without anyone to share it with.
"I need to go somewhere. Somewhere exciting! Somewhere where even the word exciting isn't enough to describe it!" He said, but in response just got the cold, mechanical groaning of the TARDIS. He sighed again, and tried to think. There was Lamitar, the planet made of actual candy. No... He could get candy anywhere. Maybe Yarta, the moon whose trees were fury, and the grass spoke?
"Of course not... It's just a load of trees." He pronounced, just to break the silence. He sat down on a nearby seat and sat there for about 5 minutes in deep thought, occasionally muttering things as "Ooh... Maybe...Ehhh..." Then he got it. The planet Tarvax! He could go to the festival of happiness! He tried to think of faults with it, but he couldn't find a single thing wrong with all the games, all the people who literally couldn't stop smiling, and of course, the famous self proclaimed "Happy Leader" himself, Lord Beatus! It was the perfect medicine for his sadness!
He remembers the last time he went there. He'd stayed for a weekend, and had the most fun he'd ever had. He played this awesome game called Whack a Cyberman. He found it amazing that these people, even after the Cybermen tried to invade their culture, killing thousands of their people, and turning them into spare parts for other Cybermen to be born, that they could make fun and jokes about the whole thing. You could even get Cybermen Plushies! He found it so hilarious he bought one, even though the thought of it all was quite morbid afterwards. The plushie sat there taking up dust in his storage room, which was where he threw all his junk.
He quickly jolted upright from the seat, and started almost flying around the room, pressing buttons, pulling levers, typing in commands. He quickly grabbed hold of the railings. The room felt as if it had been picked up and thrown across the room by an angry toddler! He held on tight, and then, as soon as the room was calm, he ran over to the doors. He stood up straight, put on a smile, and burst through the doors!
